Memorial Day A Day We Honor Those Who Have Served
What can you do this year to honor our Military?
1. Join the National Moment of Silence - At 3 PM on Memorial Day Pause for a moment of silence to remember and honor those who died serving our country.
2. Visit a Cemetary - Honor a family member or another veteran by placing flowers on their grave. You can also leave a penny on top of their grave stone to let the family know someone visited and paid them respect.
3. Display the flag at half mass from dawn to Noon on Memorial day. On May 30,1868 is when it was first observed and was called Decoration Day.
4. Wear red poppies to honor those who died serving our nation during war.
There is not enough gratitude to thank those who served and lost thier lives to save ours. Please take a moment this year to honor these men and women and their families.
